Tell Your Story

Tell Your Story. In Your Own Words.

Your voice matters. By sharing a short video, photo, or audio clip, you can help others feel seen, heard, and understood.

Literacy connects generations. From children learning their first words, to parents supporting their kids in school, to grandparents passing down stories — reading and learning together strengthens families and communities.

We invite you to share your journey. Tell us how reading has touched your life, how you’ve supported someone else, or how literacy has been part of your family’s story. Your story can inspire people of all ages across Delaware to celebrate the power of literacy.

How to Participate:

  1. Record or upload a short video or audio story (60–90 seconds) OR share a meaningful photo.

  2. Use one of these prompts to guide your story:

    • A moment when reading made a difference in your life or someone you care about.

    • A time when you helped someone learn or grow through reading.

    • What literacy means to you at this stage of your life.

    • One thing you wish more people understood about learning or navigating information in school, work, or everyday life.

That’s it. Your story can inspire people of all ages to ask questions, find their voice, and take action.
